This is Aaron from the Edmonton Touch Football Association. This year Edmonton will be hosting the biggest touch football tournament in the country known as “Nationals” or “Tournament of Champions”. Upwards of 50 men’s and women’s teams from across the country will be making their way to Edmonton to compete. This is a Three Day tournament that takes place over the Thanksgiving Day Weekend October 6-7-8. Registration is now open for the event!!!!

Although the tournament will be held in Edmonton it will be run by Touch Football Ontario. Even though the best teams in the country will be competing, there is also a tier 2 and tier 3 division set up for all those intermediate/rec teams out there. Every team played at least 4 games over the three days.
This truly is a spectacular tournament unlike anything we see in the west. I encourage you to share this information with all the teams in your respective leagues so we can have a large western representation. The last time the tournament came out west was Calgary 2011, with a good showing this year that gap will hopefully be reduced.
If you have any questions regarding the tournament please don’t hesitate to ask.
